Procedure: Breast Augmentation, Lifting, and Silicone Implants
Patient Concerns: This is a 51-year- old woman who was concerned about breast laxity and also loss of tissue over time. She has had 2 pregnancies and did not breast feed. She has noted a progressive loss of breast volume over time with sagging.Treatment: We discussed size and she said she is currently an A cup would like to be a C cup if possible. We discussed the sizing is done in the operating room. We expand to a size that seems to be appropriate for the shoulders and the rest of the body. We are also very careful to determine if there is enough breast tissue to adequately cover the implant in our effort to get to the patient's desired size.
