3 Important Factors to Consider When Having Body Contouring

If you are considering undergoing a body contouring procedure such as liposuctiontummy tuck, or Cool Sculpting you most likely have many questions.

In general, body contouring procedures removes excess fat and sometimes sagging skin due to weight loss or post pregnancy,  while improving the shape and contours of the body.  However, body contouring should not be confused as a weight loss treatment. Ideally, candidates for body contouring should be a healthy weight for their size.

What’s the right procedure for you? The procedure you choose ultimately depends on your personal aesthetic concerns and body goals. Body contouring procedures can treat several areas of the body, including the chest, upper arms, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.  In certain circumstances, we may recommend a tummy tuck surgery.  If excess fatty deposits concern you, such as the hips, flanks, abdomen, buttocks and thighs, we may recommend liposuction.

Many of our patients both male and female have body contouring concerns and a terrific way to find the right procedure for you is to contact our office for a consultation. My team and I would be happy to discuss your options with you.  Our goal is for you to understand all the options available to you and with appropriate treatment have beautiful and natural results.

Here is a video from RealSelf taken during the ASAPS Annual Meeting in Las Vegas that discusses 3 very important factors to consider when having body contouring.
