We are excited to be using Kybella for those excessive fatty deposits in the neck. Kybella is the only FDA-approved nonsurgical treatment that helps address those deposits.

What is Kybella?
Deoxycholic acid (Kybella) is a naturally occurring fat dissolving agent that is already in our bodies. Kybella actually does its job by destroying the fat cells themselves.

Am I a good candidate?
Dr. Sullivan will listen to what you are looking to achieve. Then he will do a careful examination of you to determine if Kybella is a good treatment for you. Safety is always a key concern for Dr. Sullivan.

How is Kybella administered?
If Dr. Sullivan feels you are a good candidate for Kybella then he will mark out the areas you are concerned about. He will also draw out key anatomic areas to try to make sure the administration of the Kybella does not cause problems with any other important structures in the neck. The area is thoroughly cleaned and numbing medication is placed in the treatment area. Then a treatment grid is applied. The Kybella is carefully administered. Each treatment session takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes. Patients tell us they don’t even feel the Kybella going in using this technique.
