Breast Augmentation with saline implants and reconstruction of inverted nipples.
This is a 39-year-old woman who wanted to have breasts that were fuller and correction of her inverted nipples at the same time.
McGhan style 68 mammary implants were used. The right implant was filled with 280 cc's and the left implant was filled with 300 cc's in an effort to account for asymmetries. They were both placed underneath the muscle through an underarm incision. Release of the inverted nipple was accomplished via an areola incision and an Allerderm graph was used to reconstruct and give the nipple normal projection.
