Procedure:

Forehead and Brow Lift, Upper Face rejuvenation, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), with Botox enhancement.

Patient Concerns:

“Drooping eyelids giving a very tired appearance-bunched up tissue (eyelid bags) below the eyes also gives a tired appearance. I would like to look refreshed.”

Treatment:

• Brow lift and forehead rejuvenation with hairline incision to avoid the high forehead appearance and to make sure the forehead does not increase in height.
• Upper eyelid blepharoplasty to remove eyelid bags and wrinkles.
• Lower eyelid blepharoplasty transconjunctival with skin removal using pinch technique.
• Lateral canthopexy
• Botox treatment of the lower eyelids to take away the bunching of the muscle.

Doctor View:

Surgery can frequently be enhanced with Botox. Botox was particularly helpful in helping smooth out the lower lid bunching caused by the muscle.

Our targeted browlift with upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty surgery gave her the improvements she wanted.  We also added a dilute neuromodulator (botox) to her lower eyelid muscle bulge to soften the appearance yet keep it functioning perfectly. This is the patient 4 years after surgery, still looking amazing!
