The statistics are out…Plastic Surgery is here to stay!  According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), 1.7 million cosmetic surgery procedures were performed in the U.S. – with a 2% increase from 2014.   The top 5 procedures included: Breast augmentation, Liposuction, Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty), Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), and Tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty). The other popular procedures that also made the list included: Facelift Surgery (Rhytidectomy), Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Dermabrasion, Neck lift, and Breast Reduction.

Interestingly, out of the 68,106 breast reductions procedures that occurred last year, men accounted for more than 40 percent of them.  The rise of Gynecomastia increased by 5% in 2015 and this has been very evident in our practice.  The ultrasonic assisted treatment we perform has proven very successful with extremely high satisfaction rate. Men not only like the natural result allowing them to take off their shirts with confidence but also the imperceptible small incisions that are used.

According to a new report from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), 2015 was officially the year of the rear. Butt augmentations have increased significantly for plastic surgeons and we have social media and celebrities like Kim Kardashian and JLo to thank for this trendy and ever-so-popular procedure.
