Your eyes are a focal point when people are looking at you or communicating with you, and the areas above and near them can also prominently show signs of age and stress. Do people tell you that you look tired or sad when you are not?
Tired eyes and sad eyes can be from eyebrows that have fallen or have assumed a different shape. Also, frown lines in the forehead could be a factor in having someone appear stern or upset. Upper eyelid hooding can also result from fallen eyelid and eyebrow tissue. These conditions may lead to misunderstandings or misinterpretations of someone’s feelings. The forehead lift, or brow lift, can often address these issues and smooth out signs of age and stress.

Forehead Lift – Browlift
You can be certain that a huge priority of ours is to give your forehead, eyebrows and eyelids a rejuvenated appearance that looks natural. This is our specialty, and we have meticulously studied the artistic shapes of the eyebrows, the ideal appearance, and position. We have also published our findings and results in an effort to share this information and show how effective this treatment can be when done appropriately with a careful artistic eye and thorough knowledge of the anatomic details.
Both safety and effectiveness are both key to forehead and brow lifting, and we are happy to be able to perform the treatment with intravenous sedation as opposed to general anesthesia. This procedure can also be performed as an outpatient. Dr. Sullivan performs this procedure endoscopically, using tiny instruments and small incisions, making for a faster recovery process and virtually invisible scars that are hidden under the hairline. Dr. Sullivan will lift and smooth out the skin in the area of the forehead and brow for a smoother appearance. If you feel you have a “high forehead,” we can also lower the forehead height for an appearance more in keeping with how you want to look. Recovery from a forehead lift (brow lift) usually lasts about one to two weeks. Any discomfort during the recovery process can be alleviated with medication.
Dr. Patrick K. Sullivan can give you beautiful results and a less stressed, more youthful appearance with this effective procedure.
