Patient 2

Details:

Procedure:

Endoscopic Forehead and Temporal Rejuvenation with Hairline Incision, Face and Neck Rejuvenation with Subplatysmal Fat Removal, and Fat Injections to Face (Liposculpture)

Patient concerns:

This is a 60-year-old gentleman who expressed concerns about facial wrinkles, facial laxity and asymmetry, and neck deformities, which he said had bothered him for quite some time. The patient reported that he felt especially self-conscious about the appearance of his neck and wore a beard in an attempt to conceal this area.

At our last Patient Seminar, he was kind enough to share his facelift experience with the audience. Click here to watch his video and learn what he had to say.

Procedure notes:

The facial rejuvenation and neck surgery was performed using intravenous sedation, rather than general anesthesia. The goal was to keep this patient’s face and neck surgery pain free and also to keep him comfortable after his surgery.

This face and neck procedure involved:

  1. Endoscopic brow lift with forehead rejuvenation using small incisions hidden in the scalp hair;
  2. A multi-layer face lift with sculpting and removal of fatty deposits in the face and neck;
  3. Fat grafting using the patient’s own fat to fill in deflated areas of the face; and
  4. Deep-plane neck contouring to remove fat in the neck and smooth out the significant deformities in this area.
